Furniture
as exhibit

Scandinavian modern in walnut: quiet form, hand-fitted joinery without a single visible seam. Every STOLESHNYA piece belongs to a private collection, not just a house.

1 seamStoleshnya — tongue and groove, no nails

We make furniture for those who value the quiet of form.

The workshop's name is not a metaphor. A "stoleshnya" is a joinery seam: groove and tongue interlock without a visible nail or glue — invisible from outside, unbroken within. Every piece in the collection is built this way: walnut, linen, brass, wool tweed — and not a single accidental joint.

Joinery Without Nails

Three stages between a walnut trunk and a finished chair in the showroom.

Walnut cross-section — growth rings, raw material for panels and veneer Trunk cross-section · 3-year seasoning

We call it a falz — a seam that holds its shape through geometry, not glue.

01
Milling and Veneer Selection

We select walnut trunks with an even grain pattern and air-dry them naturally for three years, without a kiln.

02
Hand-Fitted Tongue and Groove

Each joint is hand-fitted by a joiner with a chisel — the falz seats under pressure, without nails or visible glue.

03
Oil, Wax, Polish

Three coats of cold-pressed oil and hand polishing with felt — the wood's texture stays alive to the touch.
